About Me

Hi there! Welcome to Scottish Outdoor Adventures, a site about wild camping, hill walking and hiking in bonnie Scotland.

My name is James. I’m currently a computer science student at Strathclyde University as well as being a keen outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy wild camping and hill walking and try to explore Scotland as often as I can. I’m slowly but surely working my way through as many Munros and Corbetts as possible while juggling other hobbies, but being outdoors has been my strongest passion for most of my life.

I’m also very keen on taking photos of my adventures, so what better way to showcase this than here on my site. You can also follow me on instagram.

I’ll try and keep this site up to date with walk reports, wild camping adventures, outdoor-related ideas, my thoughts on equipment and perhaps other ideas or thoughts. Feel free to look around, read my posts and follow my site.

You’ll find blog posts, details of the equipment I use and anything relevant that springs to mind.
